New Jersey High School Lacrosse - Newton nudges Pequannock
May 10, 2025: Newton, NJ 07860 The Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) lacrosse nudged the visiting Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ), 13-12 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Braves now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Milford for a Pooley outing on Wednesday, May 14. Newton will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Pequannock falls to 7-6 on the year. The Golden panthers host Westwood (Washington Township, NJ) to face the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Thursday, May 15. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 8-4. Westwood won 8-5 in their recent league outing against Paramus (Paramus, NJ)
