Alaska High School Soccer - Chugiak nudged by West Anchorage
May 10, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99517 West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, West Anchorage moves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Lynx in a Cook Inlet test on Tuesday, May 13. The Lynx come into the test with a record of 9-2. Dimond won 13-1 in their recent league test against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK)
The Mustangs now sport a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bartlett for a Cook Inlet test on Thursday, May 15. Chugiak will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Service (Anchorage, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-13.
