In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting East Noble Knights softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Angola Hornets.

The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Columbia City (Columbia City, IN). The Eagles go into the Northeast Eight match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Columbia City gained a win over New Haven (New Haven, IN), 13-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN) in a Northeast Corner match, on Tuesday, May 13. Angola will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 8-5 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Jimtown (Elkhart, IN).
