Wisconsin High School Softball - Mondovi bounces Athens
May 10, 2025: Mondovi, WI 54755 The Mondovi Buffaloes softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Athens Bluejays to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league win on Saturday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stratford for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Mondovi will confront a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 league win over Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Athens moves to 4-11 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Wausau East (Wausau, WI) to confront the Lumberjacks in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Lumberjacks come into the battle with a record of 1-14. Wausau East lost 23-2 in their recent league battle against Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI)
