In Saturday's non-league test, the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY), by a tally of 9-2.

Next, the Polar Bears clash with the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 12. Bracken County will attempt to advance on its 22-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 19-6 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY).

The Mustangs (17-10) will now prepare for their test against St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, St. Ursula Academy held off Conner (Hebron, KY), 2-0, in a non-league test.
