The Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers the host Central Dragons softball squad by a count of 3-0 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers play the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge, on Monday, May 12. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Marauders enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 22-0 league loss to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA).

The Dragons (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA). The Rams enter the Mountain - Allegheny challenge with a 8-5 record.
