The Howell Highlanders softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Columbia Central Golden Eagles to 7 in the Highlanders non-league win on Saturday.

The Highlanders now possess a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hartland for a Kensington Lakes - West battle on Wednesday, May 14. Howell will confront a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Columbia Central moves to 11-2 on the season. The Golden eagles host Michigan Center (Michigan Center, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Michigan Center won 16-1 in their recent league battle against Vandercook Lake (Jackson, MI)
