The Prairie Heights Panthers triumphed over the visiting Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles softball squad by a count of 16-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN) in a Northeast Corner challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Prairie Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN).

The Eagles (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against LaVille (Lakeville, IN). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-17 record. In their last challenge, LaVille was routed by Rochester (Rochester, IN), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
