Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), 24-8 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Huntington upgrades its record to 12-14 on the year.

The Blue Jays now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Portsmouth West for a non-league game on Monday, May 12. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will play a Senators squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Senators record now stands at 10-13.
