Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN), 9-7 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tri improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Titans travel to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 11-3. Shenandoah won 9-7 in their recent non-league game against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN)

The Panthers now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Winchester Community for a Tri-Eastern game on Monday, May 12. Knightstown will play a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Union City (Union City, IN). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 10-5.
