New York High School Softball - Our Lady of Mercy bounces Le Roy
May 10, 2025: Rochester, NY 14610 The Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Le Roy Oatkan Knights to 7 in the Monarchs non-league win on Saturday.
The Monarchs now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Irondequoit for a Class A battle on Monday, May 12. Our Lady of Mercy will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 30-5 non-league loss to Penfield (Penfield, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Le Roy moves to 7-5 on the season. The Oatkan knights travel to Pavilion (Pavilion, NY) to encounter the Golden Gophers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Golden Gophers come into the battle with a record of 4-7. Pavilion lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against Keshequa (Nunda, NY)
