May 11, 2023: Conyers, GA 30013 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), by a final score of 8-1.
With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 1-16 on the season.
With the defeat, William Byrd falls to 11-9 on the season. The Terriers travel to Fleming (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Colonels in a Blue Ridge challenge on Friday, May 12. The Colonels come into the challenge with a record of 1-20. Fleming won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA)
