May 11, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), saw Western Branch's soccer squad knock off King's Fork by a margin of 2-0.
The Bruins now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Nansemond River for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 16. Western Branch will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, King's Fork drops to 6-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Southeastern test on Tuesday, May 16. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 4-10. Lakeland lost 7-0 in their recent league test against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA)
