Virginia High School Soccer - Rock Ridge overwhelmed by Loudoun County
May 11, 2023: Leesburg, VA 20175 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Rock Ridge Phoenix (Ashburn, VA), saw Loudoun County's soccer squad triumph over Rock Ridge by a count of 7-1.
The Captains now hold a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a Dulles test on Monday, May 15. Loudoun County will meet a Pride squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Pride record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Rock Ridge drops to 2-12 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Lightridge (Aldie, VA) to meet the Bolts in a Dulles test on Monday, May 15. The Bolts come into the test with a record of 2-5. Lightridge lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA)
