Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Bacon Academy drops to Stonington

May 11, 2023: Colchester, CT 06415

Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT), 13-7 in a league test.

The Bears now have a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they host Westerly for a non-league test on Saturday, May 13. Stonington will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-0.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Small test, on Tuesday, May 16. Bacon Academy will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Colonels come into the test with a 0-11 record after their 10-0 league loss to St. Bernard/Wheeler (Uncasville, CT).
