Connecticut High School Softball - New Britain bounces East Granby
May 11, 2023: East Granby, CT 06026 The New Britain Golden Hurricanes routed the host East Granby Crusaders softball squad by a final score of 12-6 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Golden Hurricanes (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Owls go into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Hartford Public was routed by Weaver (Hartford, CT), 26-1, in a non-league battle.
The Crusaders now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Suffield for a North Central Connecticut battle on Monday, May 15. East Granby will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-11.
