Massachusetts High School Softball - Georgetown bounces Greater Lawrence Tech
May 11, 2023: Andover, MA 01810 Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies (Andover, MA), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Royals now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ipswich for a Cape Ann Baker challenge on Friday, May 12. Georgetown will face a Tigers squad coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Triton Regional (Byfield, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Greater Lawrence Tech falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Reggies host Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA) to face the Generals in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
