Ohio High School Softball - Marlington bounces Harvey
May 11, 2023: Alliance, OH 44601 Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Harvey Red Raiders (Painesville, OH), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Dukes now own a 22-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Branch for a Eastern Buckeye challenge on Friday, May 12. Marlington will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 12-5 non-league win over Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Harvey falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Beachwood (Beachwood, OH) to battle the Bison in a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Friday, May 12. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 10-6.
