Virginia High School Baseball - Arcadia can't hold off Lancaster
May 11, 2024: Lancaster, VA 22503 In Saturday's non-league game, the host Lancaster Red Devils baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Arcadia Firebirds.
The Red Devils (14-7) will now prepare for their game against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses go into the non-league game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Christchurch School was edged by Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA), 2-0, in a league contest.
The Firebirds now sport a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to King William for a non-league contest on Monday, May 13. Arcadia will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Charles City (Charles City, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-1.
