May 11, 2024: Caledonia, MI 49316 Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI), 13-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wayland upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Wildcats host Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Knights come into the test with a record of 10-5.
With the defeat, Caledonia falls to 10-14 on the season. The Fighting scots host West Ottawa (Holland, MI) to battle the Panthers in a Ottawa-Kent - Red test on Tuesday, May 14. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 7-14. West Ottawa lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Allendale (Allendale, MI)
