Illinois High School Baseball - Metea Valley wallops Central
May 11, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502 Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), 10-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 9-16 on the season. The Mustangs travel to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to battle the Barbs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 14. The Barbs come into the test with a record of 19-11. DeKalb won 11-3 in their recent non-league test against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL)
With the defeat, Central falls to 19-9 on the season. The Rockets travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 15. The Knights come into the test with a record of 17-10.
