Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), 10-4 in a league battle.

The Vikings now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montville for a Rizk battle on Monday, May 13. Vernon will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Morristown Colonials (Morristown, NJ) in a Kimber battle, on Wednesday, May 15. Kittatinny Regional will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record.
