May 11, 2024: Scottville, MI 49454 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI) and the visiting Belding Black Knights (Belding, MI), saw Mason County Central's softball squad nip Belding by a count of 12-5.
The Spartans now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vestaburg for a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. Mason County Central will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 19-5.
With the loss, Belding falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Black knights travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, May 11. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 2-18. Lakeview lost 10-9 in their recent non-league match against Montabella (Blanchard, MI)
