Wisconsin High School Softball - Riverdale bounces Darlington
May 11, 2024: Darlington, WI 53530 The Riverdale Chieftains routed the host Darlington Redbirds softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Saturday's league battle.
The Chieftains (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Cuba City (Cuba City, WI). The Cubans go into the non-league battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Cuba City topped Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI), 4-0, in a league battle.
The Redbirds now possess a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Fennimore for a SWAL battle on Monday, May 13. Darlington will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Riverdale (Muscoda, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
