May 11, 2024: Park Rapids, MN 56470 Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN), 9-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perham for a Mid-State challenge on Saturday, May 11. Park Rapids will battle a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Barnesville (Barnesville, MN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Fergus Falls falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Otters host Rocori (Cold Spring, MN) to battle the Spartans in a Central Lakes challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 14-1.
