Maine High School Softball - Fryeburg falls to Spruce Mountain
May 11, 2024: Fryeburg, ME 04037 In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Spruce Mountain Phoenix softball team scored a nice 14-3 win over the Fryeburg Raiders.
Coming up next, the Phoenix battle the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a Class C South outing, on Monday, May 13. Spruce Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 5-1 record after their 7-3 league win over Madison (Madison, ME).
The Raiders (2-8) will now prepare for their outing against York (York, ME). The Wildcats enter the Class B South outing with a 9-0 record. In their last outing, York ran past Greely (Cumberland Center, ME), 17-5, in a league outing.
