In Saturday's non-league contest, the Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) softball team the host Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), by a margin of 8-4.

With the triumph, Ithaca moves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to play the Sharks in a Tri-Valley - West I contest on Monday, May 13.
