In Monday's league bout, the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), by a tally of 16-6.

Next up, the Scots encounter the South Portland Red Riots (South Portland, ME) in a Class A South test, on Thursday, May 14. Bonny Eagle will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record. The Red Riots go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 15-0 league win over Windham (Windham, ME).

With the defeat, Massabesic falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Portland (Portland, ME) to face the Bulldogs in a Class A South battle on Tuesday, May 12.
