In Monday's league match, the host Hanover Hawks softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Varina Blue Devils.

The Hawks (12-4) will now prepare for their match against King George (King George, VA). The Foxes come into the non-league match with a 12-4 record. In their last match, King George notched a victory over Chancellor (Spotsylvania, VA), 23-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 14. Varina will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 6-12 record after their 22-3 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).
