Illinois High School Baseball - Alleman nips Riverdale
May 12, 2022: Port Byron, IL 61275 Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Alleman upgrades its record to 4-16 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, May 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 10-10. Sherrard lost 14-9 in their recent league test against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL)
With the defeat, Riverdale falls to 14-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL) to battle the Panthers in a Three Rivers test on Friday, May 13. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-12. Erie-Prophetstown won 6-4 in their recent league test against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL)
