McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, McDonough upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Rams travel to Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 14. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 20-0. Patuxent won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)
