In Thursday's non-league challenge, the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) baseball squad the host Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA), by a count of 8-6.

The Lions now possess a 26-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league bout on Monday, May 16. McClatchy will face a Wildcats team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over Vacaville (Vacaville, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 24-5.
