Central York Panthers (York, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central York upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Panthers host South Western (Hanover, PA) to battle the Mustangs in a test on Monday, May 16. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 11-2. South Western won 8-2 in their recent league test against Dallastown (Dallastown, PA)

With the defeat, Penn Manor falls to 11-8 on the season.
