The Mount Pleasant Tigers baseball team (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC)

The Trojans now hold a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morehead for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 16. Chase will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 21-5.
