In Friday's non-league game, the host Slippery Rock Rockets baseball team scored a tight 11-4 victory over the West Middlesex Big Reds.

The Rockets (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Eagles go into the District 10 Region 2 game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Conneaut Area tipped Oil City (Oil City, PA), 7-5, in a league game.

The Big Reds (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds go into the District 10 Region 1 game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Wilmington tipped Hubbard (Hubbard, OH), 14-3, in a non-league game.
