Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Haven for a challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Huntington North will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
