In Friday's league outing, the host North Newton Spartans softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Faith Christian Eagles.

Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 13. North Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 17-2 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN).
