Maine High School Softball - Morse bounces Mt. Ararat
May 12, 2023: Topsham, ME 04086 Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Shipbuilders now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Academy for a Class B South challenge on Monday, May 15. Morse will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Cony (Augusta, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Mt. Ararat falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME) to battle the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 13. The Clippers enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Yarmouth lost 10-5 in their recent league challenge against Wells (Wells, ME)
