Illinois High School Baseball - Lincoln-Way Central defeats Andrew
May 12, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), 8-2 in Monday's league challenge.
The Knights now own a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a Southwest Suburban challenge on Wednesday, May 14. Lincoln-Way Central will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 20-7.
With the defeat, Andrew drops to 17-9 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL) to clash with the Blazing Trojan in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Blazing Trojan go into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Bloom won 17-3 in their recent league challenge against Thornton (Harvey, IL)
