The Central Golden Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Longmeadow Lancers to 2 in the Golden Eagles non-league win on Monday.

The Golden Eagles now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Bedford for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Central will play a Whalers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Barnstable (Hyannis, MA). The Whalers record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, Longmeadow drops to 11-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA) to play the Colonials in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17.
