May 12, 2025: Macomb, MI 48044 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 triumph over the Dakota Cougars.
The Blue Devils (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against University of Detroit Jesuit (Detroit, MI). The Cubs go into the non-league contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, University of Detroit Jesuit was edged by St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH), 16-6, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Cougars meet the St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 16. Dakota will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 21-1 non-league loss to University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI).
