In Monday's league test, the Bangor Rams (Bangor, ME) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME), by a tally of 7-1.

Next, the Rams clash with the Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) in a Class A North test, on Wednesday, May 14. Bangor will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The River Hawks go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 5-2 league win over Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME).

The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Eagles go into the Class A North test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Messalonskee was routed by Brewer (Brewer, ME), 4-1, in a league test.
