The Grant Tigers got by the host Big Rapids Cardinals softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) in a Central State Activities Association-Gold challenge, on Monday, May 12. Grant will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI).
