The Foothills Christian Knights softball squad (El Cajon, CA), was routed 6-1 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA)

With the triumph, University City improves its record to 9-15 on the year. The Centurions travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to face the Chieftains in a City Eastern contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Chieftains enter the contest with a record of 12-10. Clairemont won 24-3 in their recent league contest against Madison (San Diego, CA)

The Knights now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop's for a Coastal contest on Tuesday, May 13. Foothills Christian will face a Knights squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Coastal Academy (Oceanside, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-8.
