Oregon High School Softball - Putnam succumbs to Hillsboro
May 12, 2025: Hillsboro, OR 97123 In Monday's league test, the Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), by a tally of 12-3.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Sprague Olympians (Salem, OR) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 14. Hillsboro will attempt to advance on its 12-8 season record. The Olympians go into the test with a 5-13 record after their 16-3 league win over South Salem (Salem, OR).
The Kingsmen (6-14) will now prepare for their test against Centennial (Gresham, OR). The Eagles go into the 5A Northwest Oregon test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Centennial prevailed over Parkrose (Portland, OR), 9-2, in a league test.
