Minnesota High School Softball - Osakis topped by Pierz
May 12, 2025: Osakis, MN 56360 Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), 21-6 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Pierz improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Pioneers host St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 13. The Crusaders enter the game with a record of 28-4. St. Cloud Cathedral lost 7-3 in their recent non-league game against Elk River (Elk River, MN)
The Silverstreaks now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Swanville for a Prairie game on Tuesday, May 13. Osakis will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Ogilvie (Ogilvie, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-1.
