Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 8-7 in a league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Dragons travel to Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to battle the Bison in a Mountain test on Monday, May 17. The Bison come into the test with a record of 6-9.

With the defeat, Philipsburg-Osceola falls to 8-6 on the season. The Mountaineers host Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA) to battle the Golden Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, May 14. The Golden Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-6. Hollidaysburg lost 15-2 in their recent non-league test against Central (Martinsburg, PA)
