Illinois High School Softball - Marshall bounces Chrisman
May 13, 2021: Chrisman, IL 61924 The Marshall Lions (Marshall, IL) softball routed the host Chrisman Cardinals (Chrisman, IL), 19-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers go into the Little Illini bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Paris notched a victory over Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a non-league bout on Monday, May 17. Chrisman will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-4.
