The Classical Purples lacrosse squad (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 16-6 in Friday's league contest with the host Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI)

Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Wednesday, May 18. Scituate will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record.
