Illinois High School Baseball - Andrew nips Prospect
May 13, 2023: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Andrew upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Warriors in a Southwest Suburban - Red test on Monday, May 15. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 22-7. Lincoln-Way West lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Palatine (Palatine, IL)
With the defeat, Prospect falls to 16-14 on the season. The Knights travel to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to battle the Cougars in a Mid-Suburban - West test on Monday, May 15. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 20-10. Conant won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Romeoville (Romeoville, IL)
